Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe was founded in 1998 in response to a lack of affordable, year-round youth development services on the North Shore. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow -- all while having fun. It is truly - The Positive Place For Kids.
Based on physical, emotional, cultural and social needs and interests of girls and boys, and recognizing developmental principles, the Club offers program activities in six core areas:

Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe is excited to offer Skill Tech programs in the Technology Center. Skill Tech was jointly developed by Boys & Girls Club of America and Microsoft. Club members will learn an array of computer skills from the basics to developing their own web page, digitally manipulating media, and making movies using cutting edge editing software. Club members will also learn how to safely and responsibly browse the internet. Joining computers and technology with the imagination of our kids, the opportunities to succeed and grow are endless. |

Known in Kings Beach for its friendly staff and ongoing activities, The Club offers teens a safe place to be with their friends. Teens come to The Club because other teens recommend it. They know it is a safe place they can go to find new friends, visit with old ones and discover new talents.
There is something for everyone, and always a smile to greet you at the door. So come on in and have some fun!
